No doubt the judge had her hang herself because he enjoys it as much as I do :) If I were the judge, I might have fucked her, either before she hung herself, or while she strangled on the noose.

Granted they really are a highly rated school (bearing in mind that EU is a composite of two school in real life), but compare the size of their freshman class and the size of their, oh, say sophomore class, never mind those that actually graduate. The public half of the composite is worse than the private school, but both aren’t all that hard to get into.

As far as getting Shadow’s story in correct order on this blog, well, I working on it, however, see above about the delay. That’s also high on the list of reasons why there isn’t a posting of mine today or yesterday. That and I feel like dog crap.

Just so you know, the entire Rita story is posted here. (Part B of Chapter 34 coming soon.) However, it’s not easy to find all the chapters or to get them into proper order, because the PoV thing doesn’t work correctly. I’ve spoken to Mike about fixing that, but that may not happen for a while. So, to give you an easier and quicker solution, here’s another way.

The other group where I post the Rita story is at a Yahoo-based literary group, Submissions_In_Servitude. The Rita story is in the Files section, in the Shadow folder, all neatly numbered from 1 to 34. I also have another non-WSA2000 story folder. Additionally, there are postings by many other authors, mostly BDSM-themed. Good reading there.

When you apply to join, you will be asked to give a short reason. Saying you wish to read is sufficient. Saying you want to read Rita adds to my bragging rights. Here’s a link to use:

I’ve tried to answer MH four times. The first time after a long time the screen went blank and no comment was posted. The second time, NOTHING happened, then I closed the window. When I came back in and re posted (third and fourth tries) Word Press told me it was a duplicate comment, and wouldn’t do anything. But nothing is posted. IO wonder if this will go through.

I like these short postings, keep up the good work.

There are two reasons, in answer to your question.

1) I almost used her name in a chapter title one or two chapters after I ’saved’ her. I caught myself at the last minute, realizing that for newcomers to the site, seeing that name appear after the shootout (but before they read about it) would be a dead give-away. (Oops, was that a pun?) Since I wanted to preserve the resolution of her status as an unknown until the requisite chapter had been read, I resolved to not use her name in a chapter title again. Were it not for that, I would have used it here.

2) This is Part A….there is a Part B. I write chapters longer than the way they get posted here. This group prefers shorter, more frequent postings, rather that longer, less frequent. Because I prefer writing longer chapters, I try to accommodate both preferences by splitting my chapters into smaller chunks. In my files, and in other groups where I post this story, there is no ‘A’ and ‘B’, only Chapter 34. I will not be revealing any secret by saying Part B deals with Foo Foo. I will post that in a short while. That helps bridge the gap until Chapter 35. (I’m 6 pages into that one. No title for it yet.)

I must agree with you, even though I say so myself. I think those two discussions worked well, I was very pleased with them. The conversation with Rita was ‘in the cards’ as part of my planning and character development anyway, then a comment by my slave brought about the conversation with KD. You can thank her for that one. Thanks for saying you thought it worked well. (She thought so too.)
